Essential truth

O.K.Thanksgiving in gone and Christmas is here in full force! We all talk about not forgetting the "reason for the season" but even that has become a cliche. This past Sunday night we talked about death and how we focus on it and forget to live our life for God. The same is true for Christmas, we focus on the baby and the gifts and we forget the life He lived dedicated to being a servant to all. Lets not focus on the gifts we buy and the gifts we receive but the gift of service we all have and can share. From packing food boxes to taking a meal to the homeless shelter, let's all serve......GOD.
