Hope Groups
Participating in Group Life at Blessed Hope is one of the only ways we can Hope to live into our vision and mission of passionately following Jesus. Since groups are one of the primary vehicles we use to see people connected, discipled, and lives changed at home and abroad we call them Hope Groups.
Hope Groups at Blessed Hope focus on three important values:
1. Community
2. Spiritual Growth
3. Serving
Our model of small group ministry at Blessed Hope is catalytic and ever changing as we focus on discipleship and practice living life in community with others. Years ago we started applying principles found in the New Testament as we looked closely at the early church in the book of Acts. The principles that we believe help create a culture of discipleship in group life are as follows:
· Continual devotion to scripture
· Continual sharing and living life together in community
· Continual praises directed toward God
· Continual edification of the saints
· Continual outreach
Scripture is clear (James 1:22) that we are supposed to BE doing something with the Word of God and its instructions not just hearing it without application to daily life. The deceiving nature of joining a church and attending a service once a week is religiously alarming. So get connected and be a part of growing with others in authentic community.
