Acts 2: 46 “And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread from house to house, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” Small groups at Blessed Hope are how we seek to move forward with the vision of Blessed Hope. Whether the groups meet in homes, on campus, or in restaurants they are the primary vehicle for creating authentic community that reaches people and impacts the culture around us through and for Jesus. In the first century Christians didn’t think about being in community they lived life together daily. They were not as isolated as we are from one another today which is a contributing factor to weakness in the body. There was a family mentality of living life together and helping each other along the way. The believers broke bread together and shared meals together from house to house. Their testimony was one of gladness and sincerity with hearts praising God. When we live in authentic community like the early believers did others are able to see Jesus. John 13: 35 “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”   The early church grew in number as people were being saved.

House to House revisits scripture as a guide for being who we’re called to be as a community of believers. House to House exist to make disciples using principles from the New Testament. Get connected and join with others who seek to become learners of the way who walk in the way – and the way is Jesus!
